Maybe they just don't want Khan getting better at the expense of Manny :rofl

 

Khan is never knocking Pac out and he doesn't have the chin to withstand what ODLH, Hatton, Cotto and Margarito all had to endure for even a couple of rounds. Pac probably takes it easy on him in sparring and that may lead Khan to think that he could match Pac for real, but he can't and he never will. I'm no *******, but this would be a hideous beating and a career-ender for Khan.

 

Anything below Cotto's normal weight would be in Manny's favor. Especially since his belt was on the line.

His speed. He fights fighters whom can't exploit his defense enough to hurt him. He has a good chin though.

Wasn't Steward the one saying Pac was one of the greatest ever then came out recently saying they're cherry picking his opponents? :huh

I'm hardly a Khan fanboy, but I don't think this would be the mismatch that some of you are making it out to be. I think Khans length, jab, hand speed, and pop would give Manny trouble. Obviously it already has according to those who have seen them spar. Which I consider another thing working in Khan's favor, because he won't be suprised by Manny's speed or power, as he knows how it is to be in with the guy. I would have a tuff time "picking" Khan (depending on the odds), but I certainly don't think it's just a "no brainer". Pac hasn't faced someone like Khan since...I don't even know when if ever, but bottom line if he can take shots from Maidana, he can handle Pac's 1 punch KO power.

 

maybe khan will outbox pacquiao to get the win but the question is how long he can maintain it.

I think Pacquaio beats him, but I think it would be a competitive fight.

Secondly I think this is a situation where Khan is becoming a prominent fighter the possibility of a match up is not off the table, I don't see how it's wrong pull these guys apart. It doesn't mean that Manny is scared if that's what the OP or anyone is suggesting it just means you don't put to elite level fights in regular sparring anymore.

 

If Khan thought Prescott hits hard n caught him cold...minus the headgear n pillow paded gloves, Pac would catch him freezing!!!

 

I fancied Khans chances pre-madaina. But post fight, I realized that Pac will destroy him.

Yeah unfortunately for Khan, Pac's gonna pepper him with power shots. Pac is A LOT faster than Maidana, just in case you didn't know.
