The slow motions also show how horried Fedors technique is. I agree he wasn't getting battered, he was being out pointed but its a game of inches and one inch in another direction and Arlovski could land big. Nevertheless, I agree with Roach that Fedors balance etc is horried. I'm not a Fedor apologist. I know his style is geared towards MMA i.e. falling into the clinch but his balance and technique is **** poor. He has the agility, adaptability, durability and power to get away with it most of the time. In nearly every slow mo of him and Arlovski he is badly off balance.

  2. The problem is that your trying to fit a Sambo fighter's top Sambo technique to what your more familiar with which is boxing. This is a bit like a Sambo fighter like Igor saying that PacMan doesn't have a good stand up technique simply because it doesnt look like Sambo.

Sambo, boxing, MT, kickboxing all have different standup techniques that might look odd when viewed by a fighter of a different discipline.

Now lets look at Fedor closer, the guy is a renowned KO artist with one of the best stand up in MMA, he is not a counter puncher but is usually the aggressor, he also doesn't shy away from trading punches against someone with great stand-up.........YET he holds the record as the LEAST hit fighter in MMA, even less than someone like Anderson Silva who likes to keep his distance and use his reach advantage.

    Fedor doesnt have good balance?
