Freddie Roach says GSP had migraines, advised him to only take a year off

    So basically GSP told Freddie he wanted to take a break for two years. Freddie said, thats dumb georgie boy, if you do that, that is considered retirement. GSP said good point Freddieee. Then Freddie said if you dont have the fire still after a year, just call it a day. Some good tidbits on this, Roach also says St-Pierre was getting migraines as well and that may have played a role in him taking a break as well.

    Prob good idea to take some time off and not have the stress of the media hounding him on his next opponent and everything else that goes with it. Not to mention if he does have headaches having time off always helps.

    Migraines and losing chunks of time throughout the day, scary stuff at such a young age.
