Of course watching the Floyd fight has changed opinions of Mosley, many critics after the fight have called Mosley shot and finished. However if the fight does come off, Mosley will be a serious threat in the first 4 rounds, after that Pac will deliver a hail mary boxing clinic on the old man.
I think its more to do with Pac's recent performances. As pac bangs out these big guys, he gets more comfortable in fighting them. Clottey was coming off impressive close fight with an elite fighter in Cotto. Hatton was coming off an impressive victory over Paulie. DLH was a superfight, a way to make pac a star and dont forget Pac was a huge underdog, and freddy himself had doubts. I can honestly say that JMM is a joke of a fight. He beat Katsidis :rofl. A LW gatekeeper! Pac just beat Margo, Cotto, Clottey, Hatton. Can you imagine what those 4 would do to Katsidis? Or even JMM? I've been saying it all this time, CAN JMM ATLEAST BEAT A JWW or WW to make a case for himself? He had one fight at WW and looked terrible at it, looking good 1000 times at LW is completely irrelevant to how he will look at JWW or WW. After the WW fight, JMM and nacho basically said WW was too big, their own words. They tried to make a fight at 140lb but they thought Khan would just use him as a stepping stone. So what's changed? Has JMM proven anything at those weights since? NO. The only reason id like to see pac-jmm 3 is to shutup these naysayers once and for all. pac by KO inside 6. With Mosley, Mosley is a joke of a fight too, Pac by TKO inside 9, straight after Mosley gasses out by the 3rd, he's gonna take unrelenting punishment for 6 rounds straight with no answer. He however has atleast a punchers chance!! However, that being said, if Pac were to fight Mosley now, it would be the same shot Mosley that turned up for Mora and Floyd...so diminishing Pac's opponent in this case, rightfully so, applies equally to Floyd. Personally, I would like Berto. However that's not gonna happen, because Arum is a **** and Pac doesn't care.
Freddie didn't seem bothered....and when he saw the I.V. marks in Oscar's arms...it was check mate, in his mind. He said as much. Look...I understand your points. But Freddie's statements CLEARLY seem to reflect his TRUE feelings on the matter. He WAS NOT WORRIED ABOUT OSCAR.
