Ricky does not look good in this latest photo in Hollywood. Those wrinkles on his face indicate that his face muscles have lost their elasticity which may cause him cuts. This could be the result of his abrupt weight fluctuation regimen. While Pac looks fresh and relaxed in this photo.

Just a comment, do they measure the length of the hands nowadays? Or, you're referring to reach in which Pac is measured to be longer than Ricky by 2 inches. Malignaggi's speed was negated by the fact that he was handicapped by an injured disfunctional right hand. All he could do all night was jab w/ his left and he was left w/ no offense to stop Ricky on his tracks. It was not because Ricky was speedier than him during that night.
That was actually a gimme fight for Hatton. It is not a barometer of his speed and power.

Malignaggi said his hands were fine. And it was not a gimme fight, many felt Hatton doesn't have the speed and skills to overcome Malignaggi's fast hands and slick style. Read back how many experts picked Paulie to win or pull a Collazo and HOW did they expect the fight to go. Almost all pro or anti Hatton predictions noted that Ricky is at a style disadvantage there.

Now it's easy to look very smart after the fight and many who picked Malignaggi started this BS talk how Paulie was handpicked etc. Yeah right. Paulie brought skills, slickness and speed to the fight and Hatton just walked through it. Manny might be a completely different fighter on a different level, but you can't deny that Hatton has pretty underrated speed and ability to take away speed with pressure. It's a single fact that will be a factor in the fight. Obviously not the deciding factor, but something easily overlooked by many who thinks speed kills and that's that. Speed can be killed.

 

Hatton is not Berrera, and is a lot stronger then Berrera on the inside . Being that Pac is a south paw and Hatton style is aggressive, will only mean they will be banging around on the inside if he follows your plan , which wold be to Hattons advantage.
