"No! The gym is closed," remarked world-class trainer Freddie Roach when a reporter asked him if it would be okay to pay a visit to Wild Card gym to catch a glimpse of pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao as he prepares for his upcoming May 7th showdown with "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Having just arrived at Los Angeles International Airport, Roach was left to deal with questions from a throng of reporters as Pacquiao slipped out the side door unnoticed to avoid the crowd of fans who showed up hoping to see the Filipino superstar. "That's why we're here," Roach added with a smile, pointing out that despite , training at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood, California still provides far fewer distractions than Baguio City in his native Philippines.

    Feel bad for mosley:lol:

    Sure....
Koncz already said they took him because he will gas out, and because he's old.
Even in 360 they talk about the early 4 rounds, they know thats the only chance mosley has.

Did Shane even get past 4 rounds before he tired against Floyd? Not so sure he did. That said he's a far bigger man than Manny, and he's got power. If Shane can hurt Floyd, he can hurt Manny. Who knows.

Shane is in for a really rough night, I am concerned , although he has good fire power , he moves his head less than Hatton.

Shane breaks down after four. He will still be trying to land that big punch but it´s useless.

You might want to look up the definition of that word. If that's really what worries you, you've got far worse problems than we can help you with on ESB.

Shane had a long layoff before the mayweather fight. Stamina shouldn't be a problem against pacquaio.

I'm sure he's not.. His fans need him to beat Shane in a more dominating fashion than Mayweather to feel secure. Pac knows this and will try his best to insure this happens. :deal

I can understand why Roach is closing the gym.....
......he's got to get Pacquiao ready for a fighter attacking him with two fists, which except for mollases slow Margarito, has'nst been the case with Pacquiao opponents.

The good news for Pacquiao is that Mosley is'nt nearly as fast as he was a few years ago, and he throws his punches wide.

Mosley is going to be working his right hand on Pacquiao, which Pacquiao has'nt seen since Marquez.
....which means something different that Roach has to get Pacquiao used to see coming.

.......my hunch say's Paquiao will be able to handle Mosley's 40 year old wider right hand better than he did Marquez straight right.
