Nah.....by large MOST fans don't believe the allegations that were spread by the Mayweathers. MOST feel Floyd found a way out by shifting the the focus on Manny with his approach to "trying" to make a fight with Manny possible.:roll: Floyd fans may always see PAC as using something but they are a small majority of boxing fans and won't hold any weight in determining how Manny's legacy will be viewed. Fighter of the year 3 times....2009 included....A Top P4P fighter for a number of years and "THE" top P4P fighter for 2 yrs straight. A top 20 ATG at the moment....his legacy is in tact, sealed tight and is the best fighter of the decade. Don't worry about it!:good

 

I see Manny fighting Shane should he win against Floyd. That fight will be made. I don't see PAC fighting Floyd b/c I really don't think Floyd wants it with Manny. Edwin and Tim....:-( I'd love to see them...I don't think they'd be competitive for too long, but I do see a LOT of excitment with Edwin for a couple of rounds...Tim would be semi competitive early like Cotto then begins to be dominated....Like Cotto. But Shane is the only real options for Manny that is worth anything for his legacy.

 

Eh......Roach knows that stylistically Floyd's demeanor as a fighter will present a lot of obstacles for Manny based purely on Manny being agressive vs Floyd being cautious, yet very intelligent. He'll stay out of reach.....avoid the trenches and pot shot his way to try and outpoint Manny. The speed is a problem b/c Floyd can move fast.

PAC has the style to give Floyd problems as well which is why ROach knows he can beat Floyd...but they know Floyd presents a challenge....and Floyd definitly knows Manny presents a challenge. You can just look at how Floyd went about "trying" to make the fight with Manny. Saying he's on roids or PEDs and demanding Manny take olympic style testing just to fight?:rofl That says to me Floyd is scurrd.

 

I don't know if you listened to the actual interview but he clearly said that retirement was a 2nd option to fighting the winner of Floyd vs Mosley.

 

They had proof that the corner of Pryor was using a substance found in albuterol to open up the lungs and give his fighters renewed energy late in the fight.

 

Roach wants Balcq to retire cause they've been exposed.

 

Exposed?....I guess. Exposed about as much as Floyd has been exposed since there are no sources of evidence. Rumors are all you need these days it seems in replacement of hard facts or evidence.

For Floyd to spread these allegations WITHOUT proof is the main issue. Firstly Floyd has always been one to voice his opinion about Manny, who from his own mouth has stated that PAC isn't "****". That he would completely dominate and outclass Manny if they were to fight...he even went as far to say that all Manny had to do was mention his name and he's gladly end the hype of Manny.

ALL of that said, then when he KNOWs he's about to fight PAC to after PAC destoys Cotto Floyd begins to talk sideways about Manny taking something to enhance his attributes. Which ultimately set the stage for Floyd coming up with the olympic style blood testing demands for Manny.atsch That was the nail in the coffin right there...they got the money out of the way....split 50/50....the fight should have been done and that would allow Floyd who has been extremely vocal about how bad he'd whoop Manny, to prove it.

Why would Manny give into Floyd's demands which were based on false and unwarranted accusations that has ultimately tarnished his image and has cause his character to be in question? Why give into the person who pretty much tried to ruin your repuation and give him his biggest pay day?

Why if Floyd is SOOOOO Confident like he's said in the past not take Manny on ....beat his ass....get his easiest payday and largest payday, then Talk **** about beating a cheat? Floyd ain't confident like he is with everyone else and Manny caused Floyd to act completely out of character.....what that reason is???? I have my idea but it's speculation.

 

Hopefully the Philipinos want to see Pac PBF, too.
