If the fight is made wonder if Freddie be working with exclusively with Pac with it being both the fight of their lives, or if he'll fit Amir in aswell for a Peterson rematch. Roach and Manny always wanted the fight. If it was up to them it would've happened a long time ago.

It's Arum and Mayweather Sr who are the root of the problem.

Manny should say i'm retiring if the Mayweather fight isn't made. Watch how quickly Arum would get things done.

Whatever the public image may say Lil Floyd respects his fathers boxing eyes. He taught him everything he knows.

- Mayweather Sr has gone on record stating that he doesn't want his son to fight Pacquiao. That Manny is not someone to be messed with and that Floyd would be in danger of losing. Big Floyd cares for his son and knows what a loss would do to him mentally.

- Mayweather Sr knows that style (shoulder rock away that Floyd employs) gives southpaws big opportunities. He's said many times that he didn't build his son to fight southpaws. Pacquiao is the best, most awkward southpaw in the game.

- All of the Mayweathers are in awe of some of Manny's performances. Particularly. Cotto, Hatton, DLH and Margarito. All fights they picked him to get trashed in.

- As i said Floyd respects his fathers boxing eyes and listens to him on such matters. Go through the history of the fights that Sr said he didn't like for Floyd that never happened.

If you think Lil Floyd is not ganna take note of what his father says. The man who knows what he does inside and out then that's your prerogative.

This fight never happened so far because Mayweather Sr was spooked by Pacquiao and in turn spooked his son who respects what he says on the matter. The only hope was waiting to see signs of Pacquiao slipping and lets hope they've seen that now or at least think they've seen slippage now.

Bob Arum doesn't want to let his cash cow lose especially against someone he dispises. AND when he can make the same amount of money in a couple of easier fights anyway.

Throw in a whole lot of egos, intense animosity, posturing and mistrust and you have the situation we have.

I can't believe there are people who can't distinguish what Manny wants to do and what Arum is doing.
