Freddie Roach To Pascal: You Are Better Than Roy Jones

Jones would get obliterated by Kovalev.

for a start he never said he is better than RJJ.... he said you're not him so stop trying to be him be Jean Pascal...or words to that effect.

Roach also said, pascal has a good jab and will use it in this fight. Also use his left hand and fight for 12 rounds.

personally i think pascal will revert to type once the war begins.... and everything roach has coached into him will go out the window.... i will say if pascal connects with kovalev before he hits him ... he will knock him out

 

So its true then.

I do have a problem with Roach saying in the same interview... he doesn't want to see his "friend" kovalev knocked out... but he wants him to lose.... and he's told pascal not to go for the knockout.... seemed strange

 

Its just hype to get Pascal trying to think hes better than he is.

He gave a good account of himself first time round but hes getting stopped again here
