agreed it's almost like putting Stevie Wonder in charge of Visual effects, but it looks like HBO did it.

there would be too many nights of terror for the commentators ...whether they agree with Toney ...disagree with Toney..or simply ask him what he thinks.

Maybe Roach is doing this as an opportunity to do preemptive baseless rumour smearing attacks against Teddy ! lol

he doesn't train many more fighters, usually fighters come to his gym with their own coach to train, he throws pointers here and there but the main guys he trains are martyrosian, jose benavidez, khan and pac.

when he's not around legendary trainer jesse reid is incharge, also they have alot of experienced guys such as pepper roach, the penalosa brothers and other not so big named veteran trainers

I don't think James Toney gets on with anyone, let alone Merchant, Lampley, Kellerman or Papa.

For that reason, it NEEDS to happen. Maybe we can start a movement to get him hired?

That's not exactly true, lots of fighters have went there for the sole reason that Roach said he would train them, Macklin recently relocated to the wildcard for the sole purpose of being trained by one of the best coaches in the world, that is a little unfair of Roach to neglect fighters who have turned their back on current coaches and adapted their life to be trained by him.

Dream Trio: Mike Tyson, Prince Naseem and Roger Mayweather.

Freddie Roach is a proposterous choice.

I liked Lennox, largely because he seems like such a good dude, but Shannon Briggs was excellent the few times he's done commentary. And he's funny.

I was suprised when I first read it, but hey, bring him on. I liked Lennox, but maybe Roach can add some new insight.
