    At catchweights, who wins?

Each made his bones more as a trainer than as a boxer, but "Choir Boy" Roach was a much more accomplished fighter than Rooney.

On the other hand, Rooney was a full-blown welter and junior middle (he cut weight down to 140 to fight Arguello) while Roach fought pretty much from 122-135.

So does Roach's class and experience overcome Rooney's size and strength advantage?

And let's assume each guy in his traiing prime trains himself in his boxing prime.

I'd say Kevin Rooney has the advantage here. Not only does Kevin Rooney have a great chin and a good heart, he also has amazing head movement courtesy of his peek-a-boo style.

    Haha.

Hey, it's a fantasy matchup. If we can use internet time machines to make matches, what's to stop us from cloning them as trainers?

Obviously you didn't see how easily that style is penatrated and destroyed. Cue up Alexis Arguello!!!!! Neophyte Davey Moore.
