Well we know 1 thing for sure, Team Pacquiao has more of an interest to fight Mayweather than Team Mayweather does to fight Pacquiao.

In all honesty I want to say that both of them wanted to get out of the fight for a short time. May is probably going for a bigger purse and Manny is looking to get some extra training time in. I mean just look at training for the Clottey fight yeah he's preparing for Clottey but a lot of his sparring partners are better preparation for a Mayweather fight.

So yeah after Mosley Mayweather's value is going to go up so more PPV for when May Pac actually are made, along with the possibility of asking for a bigger purse. Pac gets the training time he wants and the fight with Clottey simply is so he stays active and doesn't look like he's spending 5-6+ months to get ready for May.

One could argue smart move for both fighters, kind of a douchey thing to do to the fans though.

Mayweather could have said 24 days is fine.

2 weeks of a PED that is only detectable by blood does not create the incredible hulk in the worst case scenario.
It would make no difference. he would not kill mayweather.

He learned by now.. Saying Mayweather sells fights. Not as bad as them promoting this fight as Pacquiao/Marquez in Baltimore. I **** you not.
