Asked if Floyd has asked him to be his trainer for a comeback during one of his visits, Freddie said no. He also said he wouldn't train Floyd anyway because he can't help him at all at this point.

"He's been training since he was 5.....he knows more about boxing then I do at this point..." -Freddie Roach

Interesting and flattering comments by Fred, check it out at the scene.

Strange question. That would never ever happen anyway. I like his answer tho.

They both have a massive respect for each other so I'm not surprised by this answer.

There's an article at the scene asswipe.

If he's got zero respect for Roach why has he popped in to talk to him a couple times lately? Perhaps you take the pre-fight selling of fights too seriously. Like Freddie said in this interview, they are always nice to eachother when the cameras aren't rolling.

Ok, well whatever. I'm sure your opinion or thoughts on this manner are pure **** anyway.

Floyd and Roach have a decent relationship and talk shop occasionally and Floyd fans come in here and try to make it something negative. You and that other dude suck

Huh. I like Roach, but that must be the first honest thing he's told the media in about a decade.

That's not the point. The point is that I did not make it up.

People post "source or your full of ****" when I provide the source in the ****ing OP.

Floyd and Roach are both similar people. Both business men who play the business game. He may of loved Manny but that doesn't mean he isn't begging Manny to come back so he can suck a few more bucks out of his career. He's almost as bad as Arum in that regard.
