Freddie Roach's comments. What do they mean now that Mayweather has dismantled Mosley

It's funny how Roach isn't even ashamed of cherry-picking. Does the same thing with Khan. This sport has gone to the dogs.

he better start on them tapes like i'm sure he has in the past... and find a solution...not a gameplan and weakness exploit from mayweathers previous fights...

Don't forget, at one point they wanted Shane to drain to 140 or no fight. But then they took Cotto, who was coming off the beating from a Margarita who had bricks in his gloves (you saw what Shane did to him) and a "loss" to Josh Clottey (imo). There is doubt that can be cast over all of Pacs recent wins, but I love watching him fight.

Let's get Mayweather vs Pacquiao on!! No excuses either way when the better man wins. Both fighters have advantages that the other guy has issues dealing with. It's a true boxing fan's dream fight.

 

to be fair, this was roach's comments around the "hatton" fight. can't blame him, pac use to belong to the lower weight classes and his fight against oscar doesn't really give roach a good look on how would pac fare with legit top WW.

 

#1 He was just saying that out of respect.
#2 This was at a time when he had no idea how pacs punch resistance would be at the higher weights.

Pac would brutally destroy mosley in under 5 rounds and anyone that disagrees is dreaming.

 

Why? Pac's whole claim to fame is FMJ's sloppy seconds and fantasy matchups of him versus FMJ. SSM is the perfect opponent.

 

Look at the cotto mosley fight then look at how pac toyed with cotto and brutalised him.
Now think again.

When did he say that? It may have been just when Manny was testing the waters at WW. Before he was sure (as he now is) Manny could handle the weight class.

 

i'm not lying to myself... i remember this comment from roach after the hatton fight. when he was asked on who's the next opponent for pac, he told the reporters that they have 3 options: pbf, shane, and cotto. and when asked on who's does he think will be the hardest fight, he said that shane would be the worst match-up for pac.

 

Is => was.

If Pac fought that version of Shane last night, R.I.P. Shane.
