Sorry, but you are totally full of sh*t. So many holes in your arguments it's not even worth rebutting. Good day.

Yr complete lack of knowledge of old fighters is horrid. Steele couldn't beat 1 side of Walker if he had a baseball bat. About LaMotta you're just ignorant. Stick to yr era. You are woefully goofy when discussing the past.

A name caller again. You really are an astute one.

Try to counter the argument with some sort of take, original or not. Sorry that names like Overlin, Garcia, Risko and Lesnevich don't seem to resonate with you. Tell me more of this Mustafa Hamsho.

He was born the 4th day of May 1957 as the sun set over the Syrian desert. His mother, Sylvia, a plain yet vibrant woman , had during pregnancy read the biography of Ace Hudkins. She predicted her unborn child would one day grow strong like Ace and train horses for HOLLYWOOD movies. She was wrong on this but like Ace young MUSTAFA would grow to be a top middleweight contender.
After a rough childhood consisting of many backyard brawls, young Mustafa........

I say again. Look at the footage.

Fullmer is for sure a brawny and physically imposing individual. But his actual skills don't impress me that much. Steele seems both physically impressive AND skilled.

I could make an argument that the best names on Fullmer's record were ripe for the picking after long and arduous careers.

I could likewise make an argument that Steele has more knockouts than Fullmer has wins, that Steele has roughly double the wins than Fullmer has fights, and that Steele came out of that streak still with less losses than Fullmer had.

Consistency to me is impressive, because it is indicative of a genuine underlying ability and drive, and such a long career means that he's have been thoroughly tested against every style and opponent.

    That's why I think Steele > Fullmer.

Fullmer was a dirty fighter who oft benefited from home cooking. He was nothing special.

And Hamsho was not even on Fullmer's level.
