I've been watching a bit of Steele on film. I am very impressed. He has a nice looking left jab, a leaping left hook lead that reminded me a bit of Jones and an excellent right hand, often straight and can lead strongly with it as well. He also works the body quite hard. On top of this he slips punches extremely well and knows how to counter. I believe his KO stats belie his power, party due to so many of his fights being over such a short distance. He seems to have loads of whallop in both hands.

So i am eager to see what the good folk of the Classic section think of his chances head to head against Hagler and Monzon are.

I don't think I would pick him against either ,but he would give both a very interesting nights work.
As you say he does look impressive on film fast ,unpredictable and very hard hitting.
