DLH got a genuine beating which prompted a Doctor to stop a fight. You cannot fix a beating that bad, it's too dangerous.

I made an argument where if Steve Forbes could mark DLH up (which otehrs did as well, including Roach recently) then Pacman could get to him and hurt him. I assumed, like in the Sturm fight, DLH was just ill-prepared for that fight and would take Pac by ease.

I was wrong; DLH got it all wrong and got battered by someone who was too quick for him. I assume he fought his natural size advantages and the fact he fought Pac might be a bit slower at 147 made him confident he could win. As soon as he was getting tagged by numerous straight lefts in the 1st round, DLH knew he could do nothing. He did hit pac at times with a few combinations here and there that were too quick to be improvised.

    Stupid comment.

At one point he took about 25 unanswered shots, no way that was fixed. No one is that bent that they will put their whole life on the line and take a serious beating.

The compu box showed Hoya punched decent amounts, but landing them was fuking close to impossible. Look how Pac dart in and out so freaking fast. Hoya couldn't even predict which punch are coming to him.

    Great fight! no... Superb Fight!

Bitter sweet. I just can't believe all the hate against DLH. It's an end to a Great's career. Leonard-Norris indeed.

I've never understood the hate against Oscar.

I'm a BIG, BIG Manny fan, but that was a ghost in there.

WOW, looks like a washed up, broken man. I too never thought I'd see Oscar totally dismantled like that. I am happy for Pac, but Oscar looked like a stick figure. Props to Oscar on a GREAT career, hope he fights one more and goes out with a win.

Gratz to pac. I wanted DLH to lose, but maybe not this way. He was just completely destroyed.

    Great post.

As soon as I saw Oscar reluctant to snap his jab in the first round, I knew he was in big ****ing trouble. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, as I presupposed DLH would have no trouble controlling the fight with his jab. I could not have been more wrong.

Manny's head movement and foot work was brilliant tonight. When Oscar realized establishing the jab would be difficult, and when Pacman started punching straight through his guard, DLH became reluctant to throw punches because he knew Manny's handspeed was too much.

Wow, did Oscar look surprised in there tonight, as I'm sure most watching were equally surprised.

I don't think anyone could have envisioned such a one-sided beating in Pac's favor.

Man, I gotta give it to Roach, he knew what he was talking about when he said Oscar can't pull the trigger anymore.

This fight was pure evidence that Oscar career's is completely over. He didn't have any advantage in any category besides reach.

Many people that were around me watching the fight were even calling it a possible fix mid way.

Ditto.......as early as the 1st round, DLH could'nt find Pac with the jab, the same jab that worked well almost 2 years ago vs Mayweather Jr, DLH could'nt even use it as a range finder to find Pac......and Pac is'nt that tough to hit.

Speed is nullified with a good jab, but there was no timing to what anything DLH was trying to do tonight vs Pacquiao.

At least Freddie Roach had the courtesy to not overcredit themselves for the victory, (though they deserve a tremendous amount for they're great preperation Pac was sharp tonight.)
.......Roach said, "we knew as early as the 1st round that DLH had no legs, he was shot!"
