If Pacquiao can time Mayweather's leaping left with a perfect right hook Mayweather will touch the canvas.
The interesting thing is that Manny really gets to go back to what he does best for this fight. No pure counterpunching like against Hatton, no pure speed tactics like against Oscar, no rope a dope. This is just a plain old, high level, seek and destroy mission. Against the most elusive target in boxing. I can't freaking wait.
You (and everyone else) do realize, that this will be the biggest boxing event prob since 1971, when Ali & Frazier 1st got it on? :deal
Mayweather is beatable obviously and there's a few key things that he does very well, neutralize that and you got him. First off he jabs to the body to test your reaction to it and use it against you. Next he flies in with straight right and ties you up, then after a few rounds of that he'll fly in with the straight right and then left hook when you settle in thinking he's going to tie up. I'm sure Roach and Manny can come up with something.
We will see the OLD MANNY PACQUIAO of the Lower weight divisions here, Speed + Power, Relentless Ferocious Aggression all out Stalking Floyd I'm so excited Bring it on
I know how big Ali-Frazier was but IMO there were several fights since then that were just as big, such as Whitaker-Chavez and Tito-DLH. Of course both turned out to be disappointments..
So basically Roach's gameplan is to pressure Floyd. Hasn't that been the gameplan for the other 39 guys that fought Floyd? Well, there's a first time for everything.
