He holds wins against Damian Frias, Ben Tackie, Carson Jones and Jesus Soto Karass...His only loss by SD against Golden Johnson...Tonight he just scored a highlight real Ko in the fifth round against Demarcus Corley...Toughts???
I tought he was impressive tonight...Even against an old overweight Corley...I liked his body attack chopping Corley down slowly before taking him out in the fifth with that sweet right hook...
The knockout was impressive. They said he should get a shot at a top contender next. We will see................
The Rail is the goods. If he can learn to set up that derecho explosivo and defend against movers a little better, he'll be a serious contender. Corley threw a lot at him - experience, southpaw stance, a slippery and awkward style, some vestiges of real power - and he didn't pass every round with flying colors but in the end he earned his A grade. He didn't get thrown off his game when his 1-2 wasn't landing, he just waited and figured out how to fit it in. That shows promise.
Lets take a look Corely is a 140 lb fighter taking a fight on short notice. His talent made him competitive. but come on there was a big Size disparity (no fault of hernandez) it was a good Kayo. but i don't think he's that good. he got caught alot and had that been a bigger guy like say Quintana he would of been Ko'd . Needs alot of improvement has pretty good body work though
Has good power and delivered solid punches coming off the ropes to score a knockout over his opponent(forgot his name) last night.
