“Pacquiao is at the top of his game right now. I'm expecting Cotto to be more resilient than Oscar and Hatton were, so he'll give us a better fight than those two guys did. The biggest thing with Cotto is that he's a strong guy, but Manny's not going to stand in front of him and trade. I feel that we'll be able to expose Cotto. His skills aren't quite where they used to be and we're going to expose him.”

Interesting comments by Roach. I guess time will tell if he's right.

And if they're not then Cotto is past it and beyond shot at the age of 28 like Barrera was at 29. Right?

    I agree.

Cotto always had problems getting set quickly.

Against Jennings in particular, he looked like he was stuck in the mud on occasion.

I think he was a little better against Clottey, but he also looked like he was going to gas.

If it's going to be Cotto it's got to be quick.

And I think Pac is too fast.

Cotto should tell them what Hopkins told Pavlik before the fight "what is he gonna do when he figures out that they lied to him, that I am not an Old fighter in decline"

    I cant wait

And Freddy's comments in that fight were that Hopkins was old and washed up too, dont forget that.

Why does ROach always say things that makes Pac's wins less quality.

So now Pac is fighting a "Past his best" Cotto according to Roach.

What a doofus....Even though he may be right, he is not doing Pac any favors by saying that.

For once I agree with you. Roach tries too much to appear the genius and it just takes away from Pac's wins. Dood should just stick to training.

I was thinking the same thing. He talks down all the opponents and then wonders why pac can't get credit for his wins.

I agree....Manny is in for a rude awakening on the 14th....

They prepared Manny for the old Hatton....banking that he would revert to
his old ways and he did....

However, banking on Cotto being in decline....we will see once Manny feels his first stiff jab, hook or body shot !!!!!
