maybe he has lost a step but to refur 2 him as on the decline meaning shot fighter would not be a wise coment. fights aren't won on these forums and anyone is entitled 2 there opinion, let them fight and we will see.

    1. Cotto is defintely in decline, but it would still be a huge win for Pac.
    2. Don't expect Nallege to admit Pac is P4P #1 because he is one of the biggest Floyd cockriders on ESB.

    How is Cotto in decline?
He has struggled with every top fighter he has always faced. That is what gave him his reputation as a warrior and having a big heart. He just came out of a TOUGH fight with Clottey successful.

I don't know why Roach does this. It's actually counter-productive, its as if he's TRYING to take the shine off Pacquiao's victories.

He fully admits he tried to make sure De La Hoya was struggling with weight. He was not very complimentary at all about Hatton as a fighter.

These sorts of comments are usually what you expect to hear from a fighter, not a trainer.

Who said I don't like Cotto. just because you see a flaw in a fighter and criticize him doesn't mean you don't like him. I am a fan of Cotto but I call it like I see it.

In terms of teeqnical ability Manny has faster hands than Cotto, better foot speed and is more agile and terms of movement of the head and at the waist.

I too have followed his whoel career starting in the amatuers and I don't see what the hell you guys are talking about when you try to say that he is this brilliant boxer. he is at his best when he is on the offensive. When he retreats to outbox someone he scarifices a great deal of his power. he has a hard thudding jab but it's not fast enough to consistently hit someone that moves at the waist as well as Manny.

Cotto can win this fight by going on the attack not by boxing.

    lol...

speed is not a skill... its a talent
power is not a skill... its a talent

Cotto IS more skilled then pac, im suprsed you cant see that

Cotto can fight effectively boxing going backwards
Cotto can fight effectively going forward being the stalker
Cotto can fight both southpaw and orthodox
Cotto can effectively throw just about any punch in the book and does so throughout a fight
Cotto has better footwork, wether people can see it or not
    Cotto has better balance

its quite easy to see actually, IMO, that cottos skillset is a level above pacs....
