Clottey is already in training in Ghana. He's been training for well over two weeks now. He is training with his new trainer at the trainer's gym whiles waiting to see whether the visa issue can be sorted out. Just because the media is not following his training like Pac's doen't mean he is not in training.

He does realise how difficult it will be with or without his trainer but he still believes absolutely in his ability to win. He been training very hard and is in good shape, infact he says he is prepared to fight 'even today'.

This is a fight guys. Not punching a session for Pac, he is going to get heavily countered if he is too aggressive. He is going to be taking return fire for all that he throws(and he'll land very few of those). Clottey lands at an average of 34% in most fights(about 15-30) punches a round and most of these are power shots. He times, is accurate and can counter very well.

Pac is in for a tough fight. You better hope he knows that and Roach knows that. You better hope they are just trying to play mind games.

Don't you think Pac has many flaws as well? For one his defense is very poor, if you can time him you'll hit him everytime he finishes punching and Clottey knows this. You don't even have to be very fast to do that(Marquez, Moralles, Cotto). He's open to right hands. He is off balance a lot when on the attack.

Clottey has faster hands in combination than either Cotto, Marquez or Morales. A much sharper right hand than Marquez or Morales and is a very skilled counter puncher. Couple that with defense, very quick 3-4 punch left hook combination and superb upper cuts you'll know he's a hard fight for anyone. He's alos got a very decent jab.

He's not a high volume puncher because he doesn't like to give opponents too many chances to score but his accuracy ensures he mostly outlands his opponents. Even Margarito who threw more than 150 punches a round was easily outlanded in the first 4 rounds when Clottey hands(that you punch with) wasn't injured. Every single one of his opponents think 'he's wide open to the body' but none of them have been able to take advantage of that in a fight with him. Why? He's not that open to the body and he'll make you pay a high price for trying to find that opening.

Analyse the fight yourself. Watch both fighters and don't just make pronouncements as if Pac's opponent will not be fighting back.

Let me just summarize it this way:
    1. Cotto, Hatton, de la Hoya, Diaz even Marquez and Morales had all been knocked out, dominated, severely rocked, severely hurt or cut in more than one earlier fight before they faced Pac.
    2. Pac himself has been knocked out, dominated, severely rocked, severely hurt or cut in more than one fight and that as recently 2008.
    3. Clottey has never been knocked out, dominated, severely rocked, severely hurt or cut in any fight.

Clottey's problem throughout fighting the better fighters is that he has'nt been able to sustain an attack when its working.......it happened in both Margarito and the Cotto fight.

When ever Clottey unleached a few fast combos during a round, physically he looks a spent fighter having to regroup and gear up for another combination.

......and aided PED user like Pacquiao will just keep on punching, so thats definitely going to be in Pacroid's
    favor.

    Clottey must fight very diciplined.
He must stricly stick to doing most of his damage making Pacquioa come to him while he jabs the hell out of him.

Clottey's shell defense along with a strong jab is the only way I can see sucess for Clottey.

The roids along with the hand speed may be too much for Clottley. With that being said Im hoping for a Josh win because I plan to bet on him

He sustained enough of an attack to win the Cotto fight, had it been judged fairly, and away from MSG.

In fact, one of the judges had it in Clottey's favor.

Clottey is not the one who needs to be disciplined. :nono That is Pac. He had beeter not get happy in there, because Clottey will make him pay.

Clottey will not have to chase Pac around the ring, and will be able to conserve a lot more energy by waiting and countering beautifully on many of the openings Pac is going to give him. People act like he only throws 15 punches a round. Not true. He throws fewer punches than most, but outlands people because his accuracy is unbeatable. And against Pac, his accuracy will increase even more.
