Ishii's last bout was this barn burner from last December for those that missed it:

It's on the first part of the show which starts at 1:30 Japan time. It'll be the main event on that part of the show with a MAXIMUM of 16 rounds before it... would assume 2:30 Japan time.

The second part of the show will begin at 4:30 Japan time and have the other two main bouts

Part 1 is about to kick off with Kanako Tabuchi (1-0, 1) v Aoi Watanabe (2-1, 1), it'll be 1 of 3 bouts on part 1, then an intermission, then part 2 in about 3 hours

This bout will be followed by Takuya Takahashi (0-3) Vs Takahiro Hamazaki (2-6-1, 1) (which isn't currently listed on boxrec) in the second 4 rounder, with the first part rounded out by Arata Matsuoka (9-6, 4) v Hideyuki Watanabe (8-12-3, 6). Sadly (though as mentioned above) Takayama Vs Konshi is off

1-Early trading on the inside, Tabuchi looks younger, fresher, faster, sharper early on, but she is getting caught by counters and as the round goes on Watanabe has growing success...she can't miss Tabuchi's head..Tabuchi took a battering in the final minute. 10-9 Watanabe

2-Both letting shots fly and Watanabe again getting the better of it early on, backing up Tabuchi, Tabuchi tries turning the tables but is backed up again. Tabuchi really needs to stop going to war and needs to keep her range or she's gonna get stopped. Both land nicely in a good exchange and then Tabuchi forced back again. 20-18 Watanabe

A fun, wild brawl to start with!

Watanabe's hair has come out of it's bun and is allowed to flow free

3-And unsurprisingly they are trading straight away again, Tabuchi seemed to get the upper hand there, Watanabe's hair is looking like AJ Style's or something...Pace has started to slow when Tabuchi created space and it looks like Watanabe is feeling the pace but then she fires back, fighting in the clinch forces the referee to break them, Tabuchi holding a lot up close. 3-0 for me but that was a much, much closer round

4-Watanabe rocks Tabuchi early on, Watanabe wipes her hair out of her face, Tabuchi landing straight shots, but can't get Watanabe's respect, both look goosed - this is a good defense of 2 minute rounds in female boxing! Watanab with a series of solid head shots, and then we are back too tired wrestling, a good right from Tabuchi and back to wrestling, both look cream crackered.

4-0.... can see 2-2 but that would be wrong, and 3-1. No way Watanabe loses though

38-38 (I can agree with at a push)
    39-37
    39-38

    Tabuchi wins by majority decision

Well I guess being the promoters fighter ****ing helps!
Tabuchi gets the decision in what is a bloody stinker of a decision to kick the show off. Ryoki Hirai will need a KO in the main event!

Takahashi being lead to the ring by Nobuhiro Ishida, who runs the gym that Takahashi fights out of

Takuya Takahashi (0-3) Vs Takahiro Hamazaki (2-6-1, 1)

1-Well this is really different to the last bout, both starting slowly, Takahashi boxing out of the southpaw stance is looking to set traps and Hamazaki showing no urgency to jump into them. Bout breaks out momentarily but then stops as the pattern of the opening seconds resumes. And the same again. Takahashi gets the upper hand and seems to rock Hamazaki in the corner. Hamazaki on the front foot, and he has late success. Tough opener to score, Takahashi by a smidge

2-Takahashi trying to keep this at range, landing single shots, Hamazaki gives me the vibes of a nut case, looking to have a war ...but not yet, right cross and left hook from Hamazaki, he takes one himself, Hamazaki pressing forward with a bit more intent now, and Takahashi responds, Takahashi caught by a counter, he walks through it and presses, a big straight from Takahashi lands, and Hamazaki has decided to "**** this boxing thing" and looks to cause a war on leather, Takahashi holding his own though. Another very close round. Takahashi 2-0

Genuinely get mentally unstable vibes from Hamazaki, and I love it!

3-Hamazaki rushes forward, and we have a headclash, Takahashi feels it, but bout continues after a short pause, Hamazaki looking to land power shots from way outside of range, Takahashi turning it on him and Hamazaki is eating head shots, finally he covers up but that doesn't last long and he tries to turn it around, he's forcing every punch he throws, just trading shots on the inside, this is rock em sock robots! Pub fight style for around 2 minutes of that round. Great stuff to watch. Hamazaki was in trouble, and turned it around really well. Great fun! 3-0
