NOW we have the problem we are always talkin about - early stopping when guys takin out on their feet.

Americans say: let him put this guy on the floor - Euros argue: he could be hurt by further punishment...

I would have let it go on for good...

He didn't go down, so the ref wasn't allowed to start counting.

Maybe the WBC rules don't allow standing eight counts.

I totally disagree with you! The Brit did an excellent job! Not only was Marrone badly hurt he could have seriously been injured if the ref hadnt stopped the fight.
    Props to the British ref!!!

He should have been the ref in the fight between Kasanic and Huck. I am positive that he would have done a better job than his american counterpart.

Go wash your mouth out with soap for combining Moore and Marrone in the same THOUGHT:yep

Marrone is a BUM with ZERO SKILL. He was a stumbling, bumbling, HEAVY BAG. Great difference tween those and REAL AND PROVEN WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Rising cruiser weight Enad Licina scored a brutal knockout victory over his american foe. Wicked shot it was!

Huck didnt even try to connect with some body shots in his title shot against Cunningham. Styles make fights! I wouldnt match Huck with Ding right now,but he can give hell to most fighters out there.
Of course there are some fighters on which I would surely bet my money against Huck, but the young fellow can compete-successfully-with most of rivals at cruiser weight IMO.
Some people here are far too harsh on him.You should watch some of Wlodarczyk's, Kraj's, or Macca's fights!

I think the stoppage was ok to save his health. The ref hat to jump between them or else Pinata hat landet a few more vicous unblocket shots.

@bumdujour: How would he have recovered after that? Even with the rev jumping in he was doing a chicken dance....
