Stadium fights..only ever been to one..never ****ing again.

Unless you're paying an insane amount, you won't see **** all, just ants in the ring and will spend your time watching it on the big screen.

Then there's the type of people that attend these fights. More interested in how many pints they sink and how 'sharp' they look than the fight, they couldn't give a toss. Reminds me of all the slappers dressed up for a day at the races.

Got back this week from the fight in Vegas, and the difference in the type of crowds these 2 fights will attract is crazy. The atmosphere was special, but there was no boozy fist fights like you'll see on Saturday.

Won't even give fast car my money for this ****, I'll stream it.

Its quite ironic that the only people who will see whats going on will have paid about 5 grand and leave with pneumonia ....

I said it in another thread,Football stadiums are for football with 22 men on the pitch not 2 blokes in centre circle behind a load of ropes....

Boxing needs to be in arenas with high seating around sides and a ****ing roof ffs....

I had free tickets to a stadium fight and left after 1 fight and watched it in a pub on telly...

If Mayweather can make a billion fighting in front of 10 thousand then i just think Wembley fights are Eddie Hearns Bentley fund

I should also add I booked up only a few weeks before and went on my own as mates couldn’t make it. To avoid extortionate flights and get a cheaper hotel on the Friday I decided to fly in and out of Cologne stay the Friday night then get the train to Hamburg on Saturday then back the Sunday.

I didn’t realise until I went to Cologne main square looking to get some beers that Europe’s largest gay parade was taking place in Cologne that same weekend.

I got quite a few asks of “So..... are you here for zee gay parade?” in the beer halls that night.

I'm going to watch the fight tomorrow, our lasses brother bought us cheap tickets for £40. It's up in the rafters so will see **** all, just hope there's a big screen near us. Would rather watch it at home but hey ho.

To each his own, but I couldn't think of anything worse than sitting inside a stadium miles from the ring surrounded by pissed up nobheads and dolled up tarts singing stupid songs.

Agreed, it's pure greed. The sport isn't appropriate for stadiums.

It’s going to rain from mid afternoon to the middle of the night at Wembley tomorrow- could get rather messy all things told.

Nothing new to the majority of the fans. They are used to cold, rainy nights in Stoke. 99% of them will be football fans and will have visited cold, rainy stoke at some point.

Anyways, all jokes aside. I don't fancy it either. And I come from up north in the UK where it rains every single day basically. It can be boiling hot in London but you can be assured there'll be torrential rain with gale force winds and hail smashing down in the north.

Will be intriguing to see who is more used to the conditions, cause Russia isn't particularly known for boiling hot temperatures either. It might favour Povetkin maybe, because defensive fighters I'd imagine find it harder to concentrate in the cold. He might struggle to react a bit in those early rounds when Povetkin comes swinging. Don't be surprised if Povetkin wins the first few rounds.
