Real hardcore's wait till Monday to find out the result by paper, sometimes waiting to have them sent from different countries so you can tally them up and come up with a Newspaper verdict. Only way to truly score a fight.

 

I've always loved boxing on the radio, I remember as a schoolboy listening to many Wednesday night cards on radio 2 back then.

 

it's rubbish weather all over the UK. Everyone in the UK is used to it! 2 or 3 celsius warmer down south doesn't make much difference.

stadium fights are utter ****, fast car got 80,000 utter mugs in there lapping up something they can't see **** all of.

 

First time visiting Wembley. Was sat up in the rafters. Pretty amazing stadium and thought the production was really good. Pissed down all day but seemed to stop later in the evening. Place looked nearly full but was quite a lot of spare seats up high, the pitch looked full.

As for actually seeing the boxing you are just that bit too far away to really be able to tell if any blows are actually landing or even how the fight is unfolding. Very hard to know who’s winning or who has the momentum. End up watching the screens the majority of the time....

Unfortunately I think all of AJs fights will be stadiums and you just can’t see enough of it to make it worth your while unless of course you shell out money to get nearer the ring.

Okolie vs Askin was absolutely dreadful fight to watch. Ended up going off for a beer about round 9 and missed the rest of it.

Good night overall but wouldn’t sit up there again I don’t think.

I'll never go to Wembley to watch a fight again that's for sure, the living room is by far the better option IMO.
