Pac-Man is in his prime now, physically...he moved up and is champion at 130, it doesnt get much better than that and he is under 30. He accomplsihed most of his best work at 130, and so did Freitas so its a fair weight

pac today is a better fighter overall but he has not been the monster that he was at 122.

i think that could be debatable because he started really young and that he has already been in a good amount of wars.

yeah but at 122 he was semi predicable. all you had to whatch out for was the left. at 130 he got a better arsenal and is a better fighter

everyone looks better against smaller lesser foes...before facing Barrera at 126, he was fighting guys like Elicier Julio, agapito sanchez, and Nedal Hussein, not exactly the 3 amigos he has been facing at 126 and 130.

predictable yes, but the thing is nobody knew how to fight him yet. unlike now that other fighter have seen how to evade pac's left and this puched him to develop his arsenal. you think ledwaba did not know that pac was astrong pouncher? of course he did, but the thing was they did not know that he pouches that quick and that hard.

    everyone knows that now

on a serious note, let's just regard this match as a toss up. freitas natural weight class ever since was at 130lbs to 135lbs and he was a big banger at superfeather. pac started out as a flyweight. if freitas can get through pac's aggressive style and speed (and does not quit) he can win, however, not by ko/tko but by decision. he can't overwhelm him like what he did to barrios. i just don't see pac being ko'ed by freitas.

now if pac would cause him problems (we all know that even if he's predictable it would take guts, physical and mental strength and stamina to keep up with him) then pac can either win by tko or freitas quits on the later rounds..

so flyweights can hurt him with body shots but a puncher like Freitas was at 130 cant win, Morales and Maquez have and they both were blown up feathers, Morales was at best at 122

No one Pac-Man has fought can punch like Popo could, thats what makes it so interesting. He hasnt been dropped I believe at 130 but he has been hurt and buzzed and Marquez, Barrera, and Morales are no where near as hard a pure puncher as Freitas was at the weight. He is naturally bigger and stronger

In his prime, Freitas had plenty of heart and determination. Also, Freitas at 130 is stronger than Pacquiao, can box, punch and has a better tecniche.

    Not truly tested ???? :patsch
    At 130, Freitas:
Almost killed in the 1st tound the WBO champion Anatoly Alexandrov.
Smashed in the 1st round the future IBF champ Javier Juaregui.
Beat a prime and undefeated WBA champ Joel Casamayor.
KOed the future WBO champ Jorge Barrios after hitting the canvas TWICE.

People seems to forget that at 130, Freitas had a lot of determination and was knocked down several times before smashing his opponents. Also, Pacquio is far from carry Corrales' power at 135, and at 130, Freitas was far from being shot and retired like he was when he fought Juan Diaz.
