I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Corrales hit harder at 135 than Manny does at 130, and PooPoo took 10 rounds off of Chico (hell, he took eight off of Juan Diaz.)

It would have been a great fight. I'll say Pac by SD, or possibly a very late stoppage.

the diaz fight he fought like a part time fighter and he was actually winning round. at 130 popo was a warrior and had dyno-mite in both hands

You can be sure that most Pac fans haven't even seen Freitas fight, except maybe the more recent, inferior one.

I would take Freitas in this fight. He was the naturaly bigger fighter and had real pop at this weight.

And at 130 Pac beat a former unified 130 champ Erik Morales. Beat former 130lb champ Barrera. Beat 130lb champ JMM. Wether or not they started at that weight is irrelevant, they were still deemed the best at that weight and became champions.

Well, let's not say it's "irrelevant". All three of their primes were at featherweight. Freitas is naturally bigger than all of them, especially Manny.

Prime or not, they were still good enough to beat guys who spent their whole career at 130 and Manny beat them. Morales beat both Chavez & Hernandez for their belts, Hernandez went 12 rounds with PBF who was supposudley a monster puncher at that weight.

How so? If we are talking H2H its completely relevant. Its one factor in a dicsussion of how Pac has carried his power up, and how this power would match up with Freitas.

pbf hurt his hand in that fight and POPO was a way bigger puncher at that weight

i see all these people calling popo a quiter which he was after the Chico fight but at 130 he was no quiter. i wonder how many people saw the destruction that popo left in the ring when he fought at 130. i wonder if people remeber that he was in a tournament an ko'd like 6 guy's or more i think in 1 night .

the man had serious power for a full 12 rounds.

Since its not a p4p contest, it is irrelevant. All we can do is look at what both guys did in the ring at that weight. Pac beat 3 world titlists who were universally recognised as the best in that weight. Morales was considered the best after he unified, MAB was considered the best after he beat the man who unified and so on. So sure they didnt start at that weight, but they sure as hell was good enough to do all that.

A prime and undefeated Casamayor and even Barrios is way better than a shot and washed up Morales and a shot Barrera. I also consider Casa better than JMM at 130.

    freitas is a quitter. that's a fact:deal

you give him too much credit but where is he now? he quit

he was awarded a gift decision when he fought casamayor

and barrios is just a good fighter. i bet mab, erik, pac, and marquez can beat him

I don't think we are on the same page. The post you originaly responded to was about power. The poster was assessing Pac's power, and qualifying it by noting that his competition was from smaller weight classes. You said that this was irrelevent, but I don't see it that way. This is a H2H thread, and the amount of power Pac has in relation to Freitas is important, because we know what kind of power he had at this weight.
