In fairness to Cotto, and even Mosely, they are willing to fight Pac at a catchweight. It's just the fans who keep on spinning issues that don't really matter.

Pac may put fans in the seats but as far as PPV revenue PBF will generate the buys even from casual Boxing fans. Like I said Pac brings nothing to the table as far as foreign revenue also. What is Pac the champion of at Welterweight which is where they would be fighting? :huh

I sure as hell hope you don't mean P4P that does not mean a thing and there is no such thing as a "P4P championship"

Again . . . every fighter is bounded by physical limitations . . . it's either these people doesn't realize that or are getting lost in the hype thinking that Pac is a superman or plain and simple . . . these are the people that wanted to see Pacquiao lose. :D

WHo said he's fighting at welter? Have they even said what weight?

Lets see what the numbers are for the Hatton fight first before you say he doesn't bring anything. :deal Given the situation of the economy, if it does indeed break the million buy mark I'd say that is a hell of a drawing power Pac has.

Here is another way to look at it, 99% of the pac tards beleive Oscar wasnt weight drained and was not shot, but that Pacquiao was a much better fighter than Oscar was ever and that Manny would have stopped Oscar at any point in Oscars career.

So since they beleive that, well why not fight the other big names at Welter rather than to have them come down?

Pacquaio is not going for a 147 title on this fight . . . is that clear ??? This is a money fight.

Yeah . . . if you want to be recognized as a welter Champion . . . you need to fight 147 fighters . . . PBF chose to retire instead of defending his 147 title . . . what does that say?

Actaully I believe that Golden Boy Pomotions made a shitload of money on that fight...Oscar's take was as contracted was roughly 30 million, now one that adds 25 + 30 comes up with 55 which is a 55% to 45% split...

    Wrong again.

Oscar was guaranteed $23.3 million and Mayweather $10 million for the fight. Add that together and it makes it 33.3 million. 23.3 million out of 33.3 million is 69% of the purse.

After the PPV DLH took $50 million whil PBF took $20 million. So DLH took well over 70% when its all said and done.

Maybe one should read that again, and if you did you would see that the article kept saying COULD , meaning that it was an article wrote before the two were actaully paid...
