    I feel the same way at times, more so in regards to putting videos up. I'm afraid of the potential critiques. "Who cares!" "We've seen it before!" "Garbage quality!". **** like that gets discouraging so yeah, I understand where you're coming from.

    Russell!! From my lips to God..with you in between....believe me...I love your threads!! You're the Ruben Olivares of thread starters bro!! The past week has been a real pain in the ass for me with work demands...**** breaking down, needing servicing...but don't get disheartened and give up the ship!! Keep on doing exactly what you're doing...for the glory of the forum!! I'm going to respond to all of 'em my man in the next few days...and finally do the threads that I've threatening to do!!!!

    Thanks RC. I've had a rough few weeks myself. Car issues, money issues, I have a birthday on the 29th of this month and I had a pet diagnosed with lymphatic cancer (My youngest ferret) and a 3K vet bill just to have the tests done to let us know it had cancer, at which point we took him home and I syringe fed him until he passed away a few days later instead of pushing through with chemo which would have been useless. All this is why I've been a little down on myself.

    I do think this is the only time in my life I'll be compared to the great Rock'abye Ruben. What a compliment!

    Hope you're having a better day cobra, stress sucks and you're one of my favorite posters on here, I consider you a legitimate internet friend for whatever that's worth to you. :lol:

    Ibeabuchi had the most "extreme" physique of maybe any heavyweight boxer out there. However, he looked a little sluggish and inaccurate here. If one of those swings hit the target, they deal lethal damage.

    I'm so sorry about your ferret...it really guts me to hear of stuff like that..I'm an animal lover in general...and something of a "crazy cat guy" in that I would adopt every hungry, needy feral that I'd come across...but alas, I actually cannot have any more than the limit of 4 that I already have...it's the condo association's limit.
    Let me be the first here in this forum to wish you a premature Happy Birthday!!

    Oh man, animals are my life. I breed and raise a lot of freshwater exotic fish as a hobby/past time thing and even watching them go sometimes bursts my bubble. I recently adopted a stray cat (that was tossed from a moving car window, people are ****ing terrible) who has warmed up perfectly to his home the past several months we've had him. I've had dozens of adopted cats over the years from all sorts of places, when I was a very young child me and my mother would literally hit the back roads of New England and keep our eyes open for stray that were no hopers, really sick or otherwise unwell ones. Pick them up, rehabilitate and or get them to the vet. She was a pet person herself.

    Grew up on a farm actually, so that's why we had space for so many cats. :lol: Used to get up early to shovel ankle high chicken and goat **** and to feed the animals day in day out. I've had something of an interesting series of experiences. :lol:

    Thank you for the birthday wishes. It's my big 30 and I'm honestly pretty scared about the prospect. I don't have a ton of direction in my life right now after just having a great career a few years ago... Going to have to see if life deals me a better hand this time out or what...

    Russell, when you consider the alternative, leaving your 20's and entering the portal of the 30's isn't so daunting a prospect...in fact, it can be seen in many ways as an enhancement to your previous decade. :Saeufer:....
    My oldest cat, a male nearly 15 yrs old, specializes in having medical crises on legal holidays:sisi1...like back on July 4th 2006, I was cooking out out in the sweltering Florida sun, just enjoying myself no end, smoking, drinking ice cold Coronas, when I noted my boy was all hunched over, listless and miserable looking...I tried interesting him in some pieces of bbq ribs, which he normally loved...no dice...so I scooped him up, travelled miles to the only emergency vets office that was open on the holidays...they x-rayed him and found something plastic that he tried to ingest...it was lodged near his intestines....they worked on him after keeping him boarded up for a day...cost me a small fortune.
    Flash forward to New Years day 2013...he was really distressed...worrying and freaking me out...I took him to another emergency vets...and they told me he had congestive heart failure...I was about to freak, to be honest...but the vet told me that it was all gonna be ok...what I had to do was give him two people medicines for CHF...a quarter tab each day for the rest of his life...and beginning that day 1/1/2013. I have given him that medicine every single day of his life...religiously...and though aging gracefully, he's still the King of the household...consisting of three other cats:sun_smiley:...I think I've taken better care of him better than I cared for my own daughter (not really):sisi2:...but I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Huh, that's a positive way to look at it. I hope my 30's will be better than my 20's, they honestly couldn't get much worse. :lol:

    Your consistent love and care for that cat is amazing, and I applaud you for your consistency. Some people wouldn't of even paid to of taken care of the cat the first time. I've seen people scoff at medical bills before and basically condemn an animal to death. Some people are terrible.

    Taking care of animals that don't have the ability to do so for themselves is one of the most selfless and pure things a human being can do, in my opinion anyway. It's that part of you where the ego turns off and the, I don't know, that silent bond between you and the animal begins. Domesticated cats and dogs are both pretty amazing like that.

    When you really get some free time what you have to do is watch that Toy Tiger/Art Hafey documentary! It's absolutely incredible Cobra. :lol:

    I have a feeling that another medical crisis is looming soon...with my second cat...a Tuxedo cat who weighs in at least at 25/30 lbs....he's a head case when it comes to eating...at meal time...he's frantic glutton unfortunately. I adopted him back in 2009/2010 from the vet's office...he as a little tuxedo kitty...with a white underside to his chin with a perfect, round black spot...looks just like a goatee. Couldn't resist him...they said I could have him, so I took him home...giving my oldest boy a lifetime room mate and buddy. I've tried to get him to lose weight over the years...but it just ain't happening...he even eats the other cat's food when he has a chance. I'm afraid he's gonna get feline diabetes or a heart condition of his own. I don't have a clue how to help curb his appetite effectively.

    That is a massive cat. I had a 25 pound, REALLY fat cat when I was a kid. His name was Pumpkin Head, he was orange... :lol:

    I've never had an animal that was like that with eating... I don't know what I would do myself... Love hearing about your cats though, they have enough character that after your descriptions I basically have a goofy grin on my face thinking about them. :lol:

    Ike for a mentally unstable mind was quite skillful.
    Chris Byrd a savvy fighter mentioned how Ike used a discipline game plan to stop him. Ike also mentioned how he regretted throwing so many punches in Tua fight and if he had planted his feet more and thrown less punches he would have had more power on his punches and stopped him.

    Yeah, he was a physical specimen and got the job done against his outmatched opponent, but he was far from a finished product here.
