We are awaiting a possible quality Opponent for November sometime.. Its been hard getting people to step into the ring since his recent rise in form.. Two decent scalps doesn't help us get them lined up so fast.. It has an adverse effect.. We would love David haye.. We would love Kevin Johnson... They just don't seem so keen to step up.. We just work on making a deal that is attractive to them and us.. Art Pellulo has been a help at Banner , since we knocked off his prime prize (Alonzo) he has championed our cause.. Fridays new trainer for the record is Merqui Sosa, and his manager in John Reetz.. (Iran Barklays manager in the 80's and Merqis manager also..) He is a great guy, I just wait and i will let everyone know when anything becomes concrete.. Thakyou for your support.. God Bless..

    Who wouldn't be..

I mean Friday has never genuinely been knocked down or stopped as amateur or pro.. He took a knee when he was thumbed by Lance Whittacker , and the referee stopped it because he could not see , but Hayes power never worried us , and his lack of experienc against a true heavyweight made it a wondeful opportunity to make some great noise.. I mean knocking off 3 rising stars in a row (Cameron, Butler and Haye ) should surely have given us a prime ranking.. Haye would not have been hit as hard as Friday hitting him, trust me.. Even Samuel never stands straight up in front of Friday in Sparring.. Chagaev knows all too well what happens in the gym if you stand still for too long with tha 13th.. God Bless..

Thanks for the update, BC. It's always good to hear what's going on with Friday. I'm sure it's not easy getting opponents, as he is a prime example of high risk. Good luck to him. :good

Thanks BC. Friday is one of the more underrated men the division. Aside from, I believe Sykes, he has only ever lost to contenders and future title holders, which I think says a lot. Friday would have been a better test for Haye than Barrett actually, as I think Monte is a bit cracked and his chin might be gone, whereas Friday will be there for all ten. It will be interesting to see what his next fight is.
