Good Stuff! TV ultimately killed the small clubs in the US,it made Boxing very big for a while ,but then it killed off its nurseries,where kids learned there trade.
Nice article! On the subject I'd recommend "Willie Pep remembers... Fridays Heroes" if you can get hold of it. Willie's memoirs and some great little stories of those Friday night fighters. My copy is signed by the great man himself.
