Friday Night Fights any good tonight?

Kim reminds me of Maidana a little bit...can be outboxed but one big shot from him can end the fight.

 

The stoppage was OK, he was unstable and wobbling around. His eyes probably betrayed how dazed he was to the ref. The only complaint is that there were only 4 seconds left in the round, but that shouldn't be on the ref's mind.

 

Augustus was looking ok early. He's clearly past it but you gotta give some credit to RP.

 

Kim has got to step up in competition.

 

my argument is that he was up and that he wasn't given a chance.
if he couldn't respond to the next array of punches then stop it.
1 knockdown if he gets up stay close.

 

That punch was behind the ear. Not Kim's fault but it could have been called a foul.

 

His next fight is for the vacant IBF lightweight title.

An excellent fight would be Kim against Antonio Demarco. Would be very exciting Demarco has a good chin (see Valero Fight) and would not go away easily in fact i think he would probably win but it would be exciting, the winner could be in line for a title shot.

 

Right behind the ear isnt illegal. The back of the head is illegal. The ears are on the side of the head. Stop being bitter Roy Danny Green cleaned your clock.

 

Kim gets hit alot this Diaz dude just proved that,i can see him being stopped early.

 

I don't think a fight should automatically continue if a fighter is on his feet, sometimes a guy is clearly out of it and the fight should be stopped. Sometimes not. Urango-Alexander was a fight that shouldn't have been stopped because Urango's legs were steady, in this fight Ammeth was clearly wobbly and unstable.

 

If it was then my night is over.

 

Kim will get beat by anyone at world level imo Diaz isn't exactly a top class fighter and made Kim look **** until the last 10 seconds. Entertaining fighter but not top level imo.
