I can see a lucky punch on the horizon for Toledo.

Two cuts for Prescott, both caused by headbutts. He keeps pawing at it, and that's never a good sign for a young fighter. Should still win barring miracle KO.

 

after seeing this fight i think khan might come across a nasty injury and might have to pull out of the mab fight

 

Prescott could really use a damn jab more

 

Exactly what I was thinking. This fight is really bad news for Khan. Really bad news.

 

and where's the body shots? Prescott's got obviously skill just not utilizing it

 

I like the way Prescott moves defensively. It needs work, (and so does the way he telegraphs punches, especially uppercuts and left hooks) but he seems to have goods instincts in there, has a sense for when and how Toledo is going to throw and how to move to avoid it.

 

Prescott 50-45 - won with higher workrate.

 

Well let's be honest. Khan's china chin made Prescott look better than he is. Prescott didn't look great in his fight before he fought Khan. He has potential but we'll see.

 

Yeah I noticed he's got good instinct to slip punches.

 

Barrera's punching power and technique is going to be the main over-riding factor on March 14th. I wasn't sure before tonight, but what other conclusion can we come too when a guy like toledo is taking Prescott's best shots?

 

He's winning, that is all that fuggin' matters.

 

Prescott 60-54 - nothing much different from the previous rounds.

 

But the manner of this fight has a lot of implications. Khan has an even worse beard that we already thought, and Prescott's power is being proven to be overrated.
