Friday nights fight... Edwards vs Bell.

What are your thoughts on this interesting little fight between Chris Edwards and Andy Bell for Edwards British Super Flyweight title?

I like the look of this fight and although neither is a world beater the fight should be a showcase for some good old fashioned boxing. I think Edwards should still have enough in him to defend his title and come out a clear UD winner.

I am going to the fight, it is to be held at my local gym at the Metrodome Sports centre so im getting pretty hypede up now. Frank has treated us South Yorkshire fans to some good bouts recently and this card looks impressive.

Jason Rushton vs Danny Reynolds fight for the Central Area Light Middle Weight belt in a fight I think Reynolds will come out on top in.

Jamie McDonnell vs Lee Haskins is another good bout between two fighters I have not seen live but caught a few glimpses of on tv.

Some other lads on the card worth mentioning are Kevin Concepcion who is a dangerous banger and a good undefeated middleweight, Craig Watson is supposed to be on the bill and two of my favorite local lads Ross "the boss" Burkinshaw and Billy Boyle.

Hopefully the fights are still on and hopefully the card is still taking place, I have been looking forward to the fights for awhile now.

 

I wondered if that was him. I'll have to try and pm him and give him good luck. :yep I'll give him a shout out.

Kristian Laight is a good guy, I sat next to his gf in Doncaster at a fight. He is durable but Night Nurse will win.

I did not mention Danny Wallace is fighting, seen him a few times and he may do alright for himself with some building up.

 

What is the deal with the privledges given out to us senior members? Why cant newbies send pm's?

Yep Kristian knows how to survive and makes a good fight. Another guy who deserves plaudits for keeping on fighting.

I have seen him quite a few times and although he has lost every single time he has always left a good impression on me. He is a decent fella too and his gf is blinding. :yep

Kristian can be stylish but does enough to get the job done. I think the last time I saw him fight was against Stefy Bull, another good lad.
