I am really looking forward to this fight. It could be a good one. Any thoughts and if any one is going I hope you enjoy it.
I really like Rhodes and I do not like Woolcombe so much, he comes across as a bit of a flash git. The under card looks good. Ajose should entertain and the Pele fight looks interesting.
Yeah its a great show.... reminds me of mid nineties tuesday night shows at the york hall.... those were the days. :happy
Yep. I hope Sky show a few of the undrecard fights. They have not put too many on since they moved the start times to 9.30.
I've been a bit reserved on Woolcome here but he just comes across as your typical cockney wide boy..... When I heard all this stuff about been a male casanova and he walked out I was a bit puzzled. Doesn't really look like the lady killer Maloney claims him to be... maybe Elle could give her opinion on that. If he beats Rhodes I'll be very impressed and give him his dues. :good
I think this could be a good fight. Pele has looked pretty decent on his comeback against ok opposition and he still has a good punch that could be his leveller tonight. I expect "Big" John to win and by a fairly commanding UD. John has always looked good but his fitness and fatness really let him down and will hold him back from ever really being competative at the top end domestically, it is a shame because if he got in reasonable shape he could clean up with the state of our current scene, especially as our top guys are on the way down. John has a good punch and may want to use it and try to stop Reid if his fitness is not upto the full distance. I can not really see Pele winning but that depends on John's fitness. If John is fitter than he was against Gammer but fights to the same standard then he will win cleanly. If John is unfit then both could be going for the KO late.
Think Woolcombes flashy ring walk entrances accompanied by dancing girls is to live up to the 'Hot Stuff' tag. Tend to be sceptical about guys who actively portray themselves as a bit of a ladies man.... they are probably more likely to be under the thumb at home!
Tonights bill has been completely overshadowed by the build up to the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight. Thats the only one I'm really looking forward to seeing this weekend to be honest - just a shame its on around 3am!
