Great nights boxing. Rhodes looked great and strong at the weight, McDermott put together as good a finish as I've seen from a British HW in a while.

well i got that one wrong.

wasn't completely confident about the pick.

just wondered about rhodes after all this time away.

he showed he still has something to offer at domestic level still.

Pele looked too much like a bodybuilder, no speed at all.

Williams will KO McDermott If they fight, at least you could see muscle on Williams fat.

Was it just me. or did anyone else get a fright at the way Woolcombe went down?
He went down like hed been shot, & I honestly thought for a short while there was a real danger something bad had happened. I breathed a big sigh of relief when I seen Woolcombe finally sitting up.

Great fight though, & Rhodes was simply excellent.

I must admit, I thought Big John shat himself when he was asked about fighting Danny Williams! Good finish though, but I think even I could have beaten Pele Reid on that performance!

& it was also great to see Ajose Olusegun back to his flashy best, that was the kind of performance that wil remind his doubters here that Ajose is the real deal.
Hope he gets that big fight he dreams of soon.

I wonder if Witter will react to Ajose calling him out?

It was the way the back of his head seemed to bounce on the canvas. It was a relief when he got up.

Yep, Reid was poor and John wanted no part of Willaims but those last two attacks were put together very well esp. for a domestic heavyweight.

I don't think that fight would have swayed the neutral one way or the other mate. It was a strange match to make IMHO, the guy had no business being in the ring with Ajose and it showed. I'm still very skeptical about the guy at world level and that 6 rounder didn't show me anything at all other than he can take out an overmatched opponent.
