...being a good picker of winners is a good indicator of how well you can read the interplay between the two fighter's styles and attributes.

2. Then, there are the regular prediction and analysis threads, a few of which are started by me; here is an example:

...writing a good analysis of a fight in one of these threads and getting the prediction right is a good indicator of your skill as an analyst. I always bump these threads after the fight and highlight the best analyses and best predictors post facto.

Go on, have a go, do your best and if you are good, it will be crystal clear within a matter of weeks. By taking part in these type of threads we also improve much faster as analysts - it really does pay!
