Jackson/Graham and Marciano/Walcott are great and what not, but what equally frightening shots have you seen that are lesser known?

Juan Manuel Lopez knocked Jose Luis Caro with a short left hook a few years that sent him onto his back, falling on his ankle and bending it backwards in the process. When someone goes down like that, you know it's bad.

Fast handed Quarry clan member Bobby Quarry came in at 223 pounds against former middleweight David Kilgour. Despite weighing in at the heaviest he ever would, he hit Kilgour with a hook while leaning against the ropes that looked like it would tear David's head off his shoulders. Kilgour fell face down onto the mat, completely limp and totally unconscious. Absolutely unbelievable shot.

Tommy Morrison's leaping left hook onto David Jaco in the first round of their fight was equally devestating. 37 seconds and it was all over. Leap, hook, Jaco falling backwards as if dead. The End.

It's not really lesser known, but Jackson's knockout of Norris is nearly as frightening as the one over Graham.

Pacquiao's straight left landing flush on Lucero's chin made him dance.

Also recently, Arthur Abraham's knockout over a guy named Ghevor(?) was quite sickening.

When Roberto Duran hit Ray Lampkin with a left hook I remember Lampkin's feet rising slightly off the canvas and him just falling on his back out cold. Also, when he knocked out Lou Bizzaro on the final knockdown Bizarro's leg folded under his body.

Well, speaking of Jackson, his knockout of Drayton saw Buster stiffening up and falling over like a felled tree.

****ing guy was smiling walking in on Julian Jackson. He must of been insane.

Yeah, if your looking for frightening displays of power you might as well just post a highlight of Jackson, chilling power at it's finest.

James Thunder's quick KO of Crawford Grimsley was a huge shot.

He hit him with a big overhand right and Grimsley went down like he was shot. The bizzare thing was Grimsley kept trying to throw punches while on the mat and thought the fight was still going when he finally got to his feet.

An extremely entertaining ten seconds of boxing.

Lewis's shock KO of Mike Weaver always amazed me. Putting away someone like Mike Weaver with a single right hand was something I'd never have expected anyone to be capable of, including Lewis.

Matthew Saad Muhammad's KO of Mlawi. Probably the best left uppercut I'd ever seen.

David Haye vs. Alexander Gurov. Not a brutal KO, but the fact that Haye was able to KO such a tough veteran with his first serious punch thrown was stunning.

Guts Ishimatsu's first KO over Rodolfo Gonzalez was also an unconventionally stunning display of power. It was a case of an extremely tough boxer being physically incapable of standing up in front of a series of blows. Even though he was too tough to be fully knocked out, the sheer force of the punches was putting Gonzalez on the canvas. A sort of Foreman-esque display of power from a very little man.

I suspect no-one here watches women fight, but Wolfe-Ward was a KO to match any male boxing KO.

Yeah, he almost set that shot up at a brisk walking pace. Just walked right into Grimsley and knocked out out.

Reminded me a little of Foreman/Cooney.

    GTFO.

Oh man, weird coincidence. I just watched Mwale/Saad a week or so ago. Unbelievable shot. You rarely see uppercuts connect from way out there like that.

And yes, Wolfe was carried out on a stretcher after that KO if I'm remembering correctly. 6'6 of women going to the canvas unconscious there.

............Here's little gem I found on Youtube. Perennial contender Joe Medel getting starched by Alacran Torres. I believe Medel's comments following the fight were as follows:

    "........Guhhhh."
