There are only two HWs I think have 50-50 % chance vs Vitaly: Lewis and Tyson.

The rest were great, but sports develop and put a current runner or swimmer against past times swimmers... and they would win. Same in boxing.

Vitalis resume is so remarkable. He just took ten rounds to tko a natural light heavy. I love Vitali but he is being severly overrated.

Henry Cooper had Ali out, Dundee had to cut Ali's glove to give him time to recover, if he had not Ali would have been knocked out. Vitali would have knocked Cooper out and even Ali. Vitali is that good, he was just too big for Ali, Frazier, Norton, Liston, etc.

I really dont think vitali hit as hard as foreman, shavers, Liston. What makes you think Ali would get knocked out by a one dimensional Klitchko?

Vit would never lay a glove on a young Ali, he'd get jabbed to death and lose a wide decision. This whole myth about Tyson losing heart if someone stood up to him is total bull****. That's OLD Tyson, not young Tyson. 86 Tyson gets inside and wreaks major havoc. Foreman would just bull him around the ring throwing bombs the whole time.

I agree that Vit is a top 10 HW, he's an EXCELLENT fighter. Prime Ali, Tyson and Foreman are just higher in the top 10.

Ali was winking at chicks ringside and eating a sandwich while he was fighting Cooper. You never saw him lose concentration like that against a serious opponent and he turned it on and got rid of Cooper right after that. Liston had a longer reach than Vit and hit considerably harder, Vit's size advantage wouldn't ever come into play.

Its an honest opinion of a world class trainer. They won't be fighting anytime soon,so its not a promotion. There will probably always be two opposing views about it.The American view, and the European view.A strong rivalry would be great for the sport.

This is true if we were talking about Jack Johnson and John L. Sullivan, but we're not. We're talking about fighters from the modern era.

Aren't you the moron who just picked Adamek over prime Riddick Bowe?

edit: No, you picked Adamek over ****ing 91 Lennox Lewis. Your opinion is completely invalid in any discussion about boxing from now until the end of time.

Vitali most certain would use his size advantage, todays heavys are massive. He would have pushed ali around but his strength advantage that he has against even todays era I dont really think it would be enough to wear a prime Ali down. I don't Know if Ali wins, but judging of what happened he is not gonna knock muhamad out..

How's he going to push around a man who never stops moving and never comes down off his toes? MUCH quicker heavyweights got clowned by Ali, couldn't touch him. A young Ali is a ghost.
