Having Froch in the top ten just speaks to the lack of talent. He is just an average fighter. He is a face first fighter and if it wasn't for his hard face he would have been stopped in most of his fights. Kessler was in that ass but I know Froch was given all the close rounds. The ref was looking for a reason to stop the fight and almost did in the twelfth on some bull****.Kessler showed me that he could box tonight and he earned my props. HBO is scraping the bottom of the barrel with Froch.
man u white dudes need to chill wit that froch **** lmao u kids ride on hype.froch isnt p4p dude got fuking dominated by ward and will get it no matter wher they fight,
GTFOH, Turbo. I see nothing with Froch's skill set that tells me he can truly win multiple divisions. **** stirrer
Ward has beaten the best in his division, and like you said Donnaire like many others have not dominated a Division. But what he had done was carry himself into other weight divisions and compete very well. Same goes for JMM, Pac and PBF. I would not rank Donnaire above Ward NO, but before his loss to Rigo I had him top 5.
You are being very harsh on canelo, yet doing the opposite for Rigo. Why is that?? Are you going to discredit his win over Mosley too? A fighter who has recent loses going the distance against 2 of the best P4P fighters over the last decade. And then he came back and got a Win over Cano. You also have to take in to account the frequency with which he fights at, at Pro level. Rigo beat Marroquin, Kennedy, Ramos etc and if you think these guys are not ( how you put it ) Cab drivers ( using your Logic ) then you need to re-think what you think you know about boxing. Lets use Martinez as a good example of a fighter who gets ranked highly P4P yet only has ONE impressive win against JCC ( debateable because of where JCC's head was ). I give him little credit for Pavlik ( HYPE ) who like JCC was not right in the head at the time. And then there is a revenge win over Williams. Yet he is still ranked top 5 or 6 ???
I think he probably cracks the top 10. The top 15 no question. Weird to think where to place Pac and Nonito and Klitschko. (Bradley above either Manny or Marquez is absurd to me. Also still bothers me people put Floyd at #1 when he wasn't the one to dethrone Pac but :conf )
I'd have Froch in there. His resume is better than most fighters in the world right now - he's beaten every top 168lb contender. The only person he hasn't beaten, and can't beat, is Andre Ward. He's had ten world title fights in a row, all but one of them (Mack) was genuinely world class at the time.... and won eight of them. Not many fighters - I'd say only Pacquiao probably - has fought ten world class opponents in a row, with no bus drivers in between. Marquez has had a couple, Floyd had Ortiz who isn't world class, Baldomir wasn't really etc.
