had to go for AA KO in the end but it depends on who fights the best gameplan. i see AA catching froch late on when the fight has become more ragged, though froch will try to outbox him til mid to late. be happy to be wrong however.
This will be a tear up, and somebody is getting sparked out. Forget all this, boxing smart stuff. Carl Froch can only fight one way, if he fights any other way. It goes against everything he stands for........
I know poll the favours Froch after his win last night but if you look through the comments on this thread before the fight took place the majority of the brits favoured Abraham to win, very few picked Froch. Interesting.
When you call it right, you should give yourself a pat on the back. I knew Froch could do it, but I just couldn't see him not getting macho at any point. So glad I was wrong! Loved when Abraham was hurt on the ropes, and beckoned Froch in. Froch just shrugged his shoulders, Abraham stepped forward and Carl belted him with an uppercut (IIRC). Fantastic night!
An anti-climax to a fight that was expected to be a FOTY contender. Froch was a lot better than I thought he would be. He still has no defence but is more skillfull than people give him credit for. The ****. Abraham was poor. Even though he's a known slow starter, I thought he would up the heat in the second half. He just never let his hands go. A shame for someone with such power. I really did not see this happening.
I done pretty good on the other thread, and made some money out of it. How the hell Abraham was the bookies fav I will never ever understand. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=8292043&postcount=10 Froch easily, whether its by KO or points. I really dont think Abraham is all that and I also dont think this will be a fight of the year contender like a lot seem to. Only slight worry is Froch will probably have to win 9-3 to take a close decision.
