What's Froch really saying here? That Ward is a pain in the ass to fight. The fans would agree that he's also a pain in the ass to watch. Unlike the money man of the division, the people's champ, that fearless road warrior, Carl Froch. :yep

What's actually happening Bunny is ESB double standards at their worst.

He says he wants to fight Ward,he has no right to ask for a rematch

    He says he's not bothered,he's running scared.

Utter bull**** from the sort of dreadful poster who is only able to hear what they want to hear.

What about Ward bitching about AC being a road fight?
What about the fact that even in Oakland,no one is that bothered.
What about the fact that 99% of the posters who bull**** on this subject wouldn't pay for a PPV of him,far less go and watch him?
And spare me the bull**** about the vastness of America.Even most Californian posters wouldn't get out of bed for an all expenses paid trip to watch Ward.

Let's keep the home truths going.I don't think I've read a sensible poster saying that Froch wins a rematch or wasn't handily beaten first time round.
Ward has just been too good for his optimum weight.Who else in that division is more worthy of a fight with him than Froch?

No one,but as long as the likes of the Princess disguised as TMT post this bull****,you'll find a real lack of common sense from people who really should know better.

Who should Ward fight next at 168 since that's where he wants to stay for now Genius?
Chavez? Who you dropped from your "team" quicker than you'd run to catch a piece of Schaefer's **** before it hit the pan if he invited you along to his toilet?
True fans get behind their guy no matter what.Even in a case like this where there's a good chance he'll lose.
**** pot fanny men/boys drop fighters because they've been found out.
Good luck with that attitude when you become a man.Boyeeeee!

I like Andre Ward, and I'd just like him to say, "Yes, I'll beat you in the UK. Let's do it."

Come on, Andre. Don't let this fight pass you by. It's good money and a very public fight. This one would definitely get him more well known, and even more respected. Put him down again, Ward!

did you score the fight 115-113? He says he would rather fight Kessler. hopefully the Euro public pushes Froch and Hearn to get the fight done with Ward. So Ward can go over to the UK and beat the living **** out of Froch. The truth of the matter is Froch fans deep down dont want to see Ward vs Froch because it would be a beat down. They will pay for it but they know the result before the fight even happens.

I don't think it's wise to read too much into any singular quote uttered by any boxer. Froch also said that because two of the judges scored it 115-113 all he needed to have done was win one more round and it would have been a draw and that Ward wanting Froch to come to the US for a second time tells you all you need to know about Ward's reluctance to take the fight.

Like I said, I don't think any one quote really tells you anything. I think they both want the fight and I think it will happen in the UK and that Ward will win. We can only hope that it does happen and I really struggle to understand the logic of people who don't want it to happen.

What did you miss about his direct quote to the editor of Boxing News?

Ward in the UK is the fight he wants more than any other.

What don't you understand? Apart from being a true boxing fan of course.

It is obvious from the quotes within boxing news and ringside last night that froch would fight ward now in the uk.. Concentrating on Barry hearns reaction and words it is obvious to me that matchroom would rather leave ward waiting until the time is right.. We shall see what happens cos as it stands hearn knows full well that froch is prepared to fight ward but the fact remains that there are more lucrative options available.

    Does it matter?
You slate Froch for saying he wants the fight, then slate him for saying he wants Kessler.

I proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Froch has made clear his first choice is Ward in the UK.

As a fellow Ward fan,who do you think Andre should fight next at 168?

Honestly, would Ward's style of fighting have made you fall in love with the sport?

:yep He didn't say he'd rather face Kessler if he couldn't get Ward in UK, he flat out said he'd rather a third fight because of Ward's style.

More money with Kessler fight, both have fans and they match up well...Making fans really happy.

Andre Ward can't sell out in his own home town.

BTW Andre Ward is starting to look more like a part time fighter, with his inactive self.
