A respected veteran British world champ who seems to to be looking for a final pay day, after getting the better of his domestic rival in a big rematch. Most assuming this is one fight too far for Froch/Benn. His rival has looked sensational winning one sided fights against decent opposition at the lighter weight. Golovkin/McClellan has the hardcore salivating, but needs that big name that will turn him into a potential household name.
Yeah, I got ya :good For a minute, I thought you were referring to Golovkin's pre-existing brain injury
It's a huge fight. But I'm not sure it will happen. Froch has nothing to lose really, but he could get seriously hurt. I think he was looking for an easy fight. In spite of his warrior reputation and claims to be a superstar, he seems content with what he's achieved. Personally I wouldn't put him in the Nigel Benn category.
I doubt he's too bothered about getting hurt. He didn't get the warrior reputation for nothing. What makes you think he was looking for an easy fight? I got the impression he was looking for a fight he could genuinely get motivated for..
think in the past he would have taken the fight, now he's got his mrs and the kids etc, he probably doesn't want the hard training camps, potential to get ktfo, he's got more than enough money and he's probably not got the motivation he had 4/5 years ago. would like to see the fight, but if froch doesn't take it now and retire it'll look like he's ducking him. maybe 90k people in wembly would get him motivated
Froch isn't as likeable as Benn. I'd like to see him fight GGG over anyone else as it's an intriguing fight.
Could be. A terrible fight stylistically anyway; even a (upset) win would probably come with the 'Ward not the same fighter anymore' and I do not think the purse would be brilliant.
Ward himiliated him last time. Gave him a boxing lesson hence will never fight him again....warrior mentallity? Lol no Anyway GGG fight, if it happens fair play to him.
Likely be the opposite. If Froch wins GGG was a hype job, blown up MW that hadn't beaten anyone... Pathetic!
it seems no matter who fights who or how well a fighter does all people do is critise them . Its the way of modern society always look for the negative
