Better fight then I was expecting.

Pascal had looked so fragile in other fights I had seen him in..I did not expect him to fight Froch like that, was a good effort.

To tell you the truth though didnt change my opinion of either fighter to much overall...Neither will make a strong champ honestly.

 

I watched the fight earlier and it was indeed a good scrap. It was an action fight in which Froch and Pascal showed that they both have good beards. I didn't score the fight but I thought it was very close. The judging however was one sided for Froch which was a complete joke.

It was in fact my first time seeing Froch and I have to say that I really wasn't impressed. I see a lot of threads with people speaking of him as though he's the next big thing. His defense is totally flawed and his hand speed and movement is nothing special. I venture to say that unless he drastically improves his defense he'll be exposed by the next tier of fighters in the division. I would even say someone like Miranda would have an excellent shot against him.
