Did he have a similar style to what he has in the pro's? I just can't see how he'd be a success at the elite level unless he just steam rolled people with pressure. He's technically not the best and walks on to shots so surely he just got picked off? He obviously had something about him but his style must have changed alot since then.
wat? This is insightful knowledge and information I was not aware of, so I at least am appreciative of this post :good It also in just a few short words tells you everything you need to know about Froch's background. Elite fighter. 9 world title defences as a pro. Elite amateur. With regard to Froch hate at this moment in time, I'll never understand the British mentality of pissing on your best successes Other countries would celebrate, knight and make statues of someone with his resume and the fights he has been in :yep
The question was: Did he have a similar style to what he has in the pro's? Ash's post was irrelevant.
solaris go and suck a donkey di ck better a post to be irrelevant than an existance you gaping fu cking axe wound :hi: even though the post is true you seem to struggle with facts cretin > ****
He had his hands down, He admits it was a poor Naz impersonation. He'd move around and have hands low then bring them up. A little like he does nowadays.. He's throw the jab, and slide punches in behind and throw awkward leads and counters. Hence the nickname.. He hasn't changed to much really, He's probably more aggressive now and with being a pro he's evolved into a pressure fighter due to the rounds and his strength and power. He used to be able to roll and slip shots and counter but as he's gone up in class he's not been able to do that as much due to quality and speed of opponents. He tore his ACL in middle of his pro career and it has affected him as a fighter IMO. He was never much of a mover but it's taken a little bit out of him but he finds a way.
Not quite on track but on similar lines:Just out of interest does anybody know who Carl boxed as an amateur?Any household names?Know about his amateur record?
There's nothing more irrelevant than a post that brings nothing to a debate other than to distinguish another which did, as irrelevant (yes I realise the hypocrisy here, I just thought it was worth pointing out).
