Was just on the nottingham arena website and to my amazement tickets were still available in nearly all sections!!

Which got me thinking, how full do you think the place will be come fight night?
From what i saw for the pascal fight it looked pretty much sold out!

Froch was talking about packing out the forrest ground. :patsch

I think it will be just as packed. Froch is an exciting fighter it's been a long time since everyone's been to a good match in Nottingham.

Trying to find the arena is a fight in itself.

8,000's a good attendance for boxing these days, apart from the superfights they would love those attendances in the states. Also you have to take into account Froch's lack of mainstream exposure etc

  8. no one knows Froch which is sad really

This is true, a real shame.

I remember after the Jermain Taylor fight was shown delayed on ITV, I went into my local and a few lads in there talking about the boxing, reffering to him as "the english chap", I had to explain to them that he was this countries only legit world champion at the time. I gave them the full lowdown though and they had been impressed with the fight (mainly the finish) so hopefully they follow him a bit now, it just goes to show what happens without mainstream media attention. Boxing has been pushed out of the mainstream.

He desrves all the plaudits he can get after recent performances. He represents all the things the media usually love about being english

e.g heart of a lion, fighting til the end etc

  11. you can have all the qualities but no point if you can't be seen

BUT its still very likely to be a much bigger crowd than the 5000 that saw Khan v Kotelnik, and show stacked was that undercard compared to this.

Alright the main event here in Nottingham will be a hell of a lot better, but to do bigger business than Khan in a world title fight is pretty impressive.
