to fight for 12 rounds and have the energy to knock someone out at the Twelve is a skill in itself. FACT.

Check the judges scorecards and it will give you a clue.

The judges scorecards may not be perfect . . . but I'll give it more credibilty than your scorecards. :D

Jermain is a natural 160 boxer....Froch 168. Height may be similar but Froch is a stronger and bigger man. takes a better shot and I think he has more power.

There is pressure and there is intelligent pressure. Duran, Armstrong, PAC, Chavez and Pryor all had "intelligent pressure" they utilized in the ring. They didn't just come in striaght forwad....they'd come in at angles, use lateral moveent and take away their opponents range. Marciano wasn't reallly a great boxer either but he was tough as rhino hide and his championship heart was incredible. He'd loose every round in a fight against a better or superior boxer and never loose his composure and walk his man down until he landed one shot to end the fight.

I see your points, and I agree somewhat. However, I thinking JT's low boxing IQ is his biggest problem. You may recall that I layed out exactly what I thought Jermain needed to do to win. I said blister and move for the first 8 rounds, use his speed and skills to build up a lead. Fine, he did that.

After 8 rounds when his stamina issues might show up, throw quick 2-3 punch combinations, clinch, force a break, and then do it again. Wash, rinse, repeat. If he would have fought that way, he would have won.

What the hell was I thinking when I bet my Danny Lopez avatar that JT could fight a smart fight:patsch

Funny.....Froch is a Mummy with a good punch and a decent chin who showed grit and knocked out a smaller faster guy with questionable stamina and a shaky chin who fought a stupid fight

no he beat him because he had too...

thats the sign of a great champion,to pull it out of the bag at all costs,to go that extra mile and to never give up!

i had taylor 2 rounds ahead going into the 12th,froch did what he had to,he turned it on and pummeled taylor like no one ever has.

I think the whole stamina issue is a very convenient excuse for people who picked Taylor before the fight.

After all, Taylor who has admitted stamina problems in the past insisted that stamina wasn't the issue here, in his words "Froch hits hard as hell".

I think people are underestimating the heavy-handedness of Froch. As soon as he got that good right hand through in the 12th and saw Taylor hurt and stunned, he went in for the kill, as he always has done, loading up on his punches and throwing 4-5 punch combinations.

Once Froch has you hurt, it is hard to escape him. People use the Pascal fight to try to disregard CFs power but can't it just be that Pascals skill and chin are being under-rated here too?

Don't get me wrong, Froch is there to be beat, no doubt about that but what he does have, a strong chin and a concussive punch, he uses well.

it was a good even fight - until JT ran out of gas - & Froch has heavy hands - that coupled with the speed of delivery does for most people - but CF has no defense skills & will be exposed very time on that front by someone who has the means - but CF is one tough cookie

Right. It should be abunduntly obvious to anyone that knows anything about boxing as to who the more skilled of the two is.

Froch's victory stemmed from better conditioning, a far better chin, and a much stronger will.

Tough American s.middleweight warrior Jermain taylor has been bitten by King Cobra after long brutal battle in his back yard.
Right hand of King Cobra is deadly poisonous and it's starting to have lights-out-looking effect on here:deal
