Froch believes Bivol is part of the reason Ward retired

I would have thought froch might be less worked up once he surpassed calzaghe, but no now his focus is on ward, whom he will never surpass.

still at least he openly acknowledges that ward is better, he tries to be honest rather than lie incessantly.

i think one reason froch still dislikes andre C.O. ward is that he knows he can never beat him.

whereas he grew not to care about joe cowardzaghe once he had surpassed joes recognised defences and it became obvious to all that joe had avoided defending against him.

thats why joe still gets increasingly worked up about ward and froch because e in turn knows he can never surpass them.
Joe must feel relieved that Chunky derailed or he would have passed him too.

Tbh I'm not.

Imo Ward has a very solid but overrated resume, yes he has wins against quality fighters like Kessler, Froch and Kovalev, but he also has his fair share of fillers like Green, Smith, Rodriguez and Brand.

 

I agree with that.
I admire Ward going through his career undefeated but always felt his resume was very overrated.
Kessler was faded and with vision problems and that is arguably his best SMW win. I couldnt imagine there being as much hype if an unknown SMW from Europe had of beaten Kessler at that time

 

It sure bothers a lot of people that Ward is best SMW ever, they are trting to rewrite his resume with "one eyed kessler" lol
