Undefeated Kessler was 39-0 and a unified world champ who had also defended away. Thats hardly inexperienced.
I dont disagree that Kessler scored what could be called his best win after losing to Ward, but that doesnt mean he wasnt faded and having vision problems.
I think Froch had already been exposed quite a bit at that time and think the Kessler of a few years earlier would have been far more convincing and think it would have been more similar to Kessler/Andrade type of fight.
G Foreman was faded when he beat M Moorer. It was a good win but I think prime Foreman would have been more convincing

I have watched SMW for years.
Now Froch after that fight had massive struggles with faded, boiled down G Johnson who after losing to Froch was arguably Butes big win. This is Johnson who was never a top SMW and lost more than he won. Consider S Ottke over 10 years previously had beaten prime SMW G Johnson far clearer and easier than Froch.
Kessler had noted eye problems. He still beat Froch with them, but think the fresher more prime version would have had an easier time.
Froch had been exposed before then. He was behind to many against Taylor, looked fortunate to many against Dirrell and some felt to Pascal. None of those fighters were top SMWs and had looked fortunate to some against Adamu previously.

He tried to claim I hadn't understood his post - which was people need to lay off retired fighters - and when I said this was funny as he was obsessed with one he went off on one blathering something or other about 'Cowardzaghe' and the Newbridge police force.
